Optimal controller synthesis with D stability,☆☆

Abstract

In this paper, we consider the problem of finding controllers which place the eigenvalues of the closed-loop system matrix in a prespecified circular region in the left-half plane and minimize an associated quadratic cost function. We give solutions to both state-feedback and output-feedback synthesis problems.
