|설명||Description: Ammonia, methanol and recycle liquid and recycle gas are fed continously at controlled rates through a vaporizer (1), exchanger (2) and superheater (3) into an amination catalyst packed converter (4). Most of the exothermic reaction heat is used in the feed heat recovery system. The crude product is fed to a series of four distillation columns. The first column (5) separates excess ammonia and part of the trimethylamine-ammonia azeotrope, which is added for extractive distillatiion and pure trimethylamine (TMA) goes overhead to product storage or recycle . Bottoms are fed to the D/H column (7) where di-and monomethylamine (DMA/MMA) goes overhead to the product column (8). D/H column bottoms go to the recovery column (9) where amines and methanol go overhead with water drained from the bottom to effluemt treatment (10). The reaction system is in equilibrium and any amount of the tri-, mono- or dimethylamine can be taken off as product with any amount of unwanted product recycled, which supresses formation of an equivalent amount of that material. Products are 99.6+% pure.
Yields: Yield of both ammonia and methanol is above 97%.
