PID Controller Tuning Using various method

A. Selection of Process: You can choose different processes to be identified and controlled.
P0: First-Order Plus Dead Time Model
P1: Second-Order Plus Dead Time Model (Overdamped)
P2: Second-Order Plus Dead Time Model (Underdamped)
B. Selection of Tuning Rule: you can select different method of tuning rules.
M0: Internal Model Control for FOPDT (results PID)
M1: ITAE method for setpoint change
M2: ITAE method for load change
M3: Cohen-Coon Method
M4: Ziegler-Nichols Method (Original)
M5: Ziegler-Nichols Method (Some Overshoot)
M6: Ziegler-Nichols Method (No Overshoot)
M0-M3: Tuning parameters based on step response (Gain, Time constant, Dead time)
M4-M6: Tuning parameters based on continuous cycling using relay feedback
C. Method Specific Parameter: you can select different method of tuning rules.
M1 (IMC): Desired closed-loop time constant can be entered
M0-M3: No parameter required
M4-M6: Relay output amplitude
D. Descriptive Explanation of Process identification and Tuning:
E. Transfer Tuning Parameters to Controller:
A. Response: Process output(red) and input(blue) are plotted for open-loop operation such as step response test and relay feedback test. The process identification is performed automatically depending on the test method you run.
B. Freeze Button: It can be toggled by clicking the thumbtack figure. If a plot is frozen, next plots will be imposed on the previous plot. The y-axis will not be rescaled. If it is released, the last plot will be redrawn.
C. Run Panel: Select one of the open-loop tests or closed-loop runs by clicking the words. Then click run button.
Run with present condition : Start simulation at the current condition
Run Button : At the slow speed of simulation, the button will be changed to 'PAUSE' and you can stop and restart the simulation.
D. Selection of Simulation Speed: You can changed the simulation speed when you want to see the response as it progresses. Two tests are performed instant speed.
Speed: Instant, Fast, Normal, Slow, Very slow
A. Tuning Parameter Input Field:

- Increase the value by predetermined increment
- Click and enter value at the Tuning Parameter Input field in A
- Decrease the value by predetermined decrement
- Toggle between Reverse acting and Direct acting

- Toggle AUTO/MANUAL mode of controller
- You can change the value by dragging the triangle depending on the controller mode
