Department of Chemical Engineering
The Department of Chemical
Engineering has mainly
two research lines: Heat Transfer applied to Solar Energy
(eugenia@ufc.br)
and Adsorptive Separation Processes (celio@ufc.br).
Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro
Programa de Engenharia Química (Chemical Engineering Post-Graduate Studies)
Teaching and research activities (including recent
publications) of PEQ, the Chemical Engineering Program of COPPE, the post-graduate
school of Engineering of UFRJ, the Federal University of Rio de
Janeiro, Brazil. Also contain links to other chemical engineering resources
of interest.
Departamento de Procesos Quimicos y Biologicos (Chemical and Biological Process Department)
The chemical engineer's program has a (CESIQ) Centro de Estudios
de Ingenieria Quimica (Chemical Engineering Study Center) which is managed and
organized by students. The CESIQ is very important for the university --
It manages the relationship between industry and students.
Each year a chemical engineer's program
of Colombia organizes the "Encuentro Nacional de Estudiantes de
Ingenieria Quimica" (Chemical Engineering Student's Encounter).
This year (1995), the encounter is at the Universidad del Valle.
